SAMUEL GURSKY

Samuel Gursky, the founder of Irving Harvey, is a senior colorist and a graduate of the School of Visual Arts, where he studied the editorial process. Over the past decade, he has honed his deep expertise in color grading while working on a diverse range of projects while dedicating himself to building Irving Harvey.

Samuel's passion for color grading goes beyond correction, as he strives to enhance the texture and feel of the visuals, bringing stories to life. His extensive portfolio of projects includes work showcased in the Venice Biennale, MoMA Doc Fortnight, along with SXSW Special Jury and Sundance Grand Jury prize winners.

Samuel has also taught color grading and workflow as an adjunct professor at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University’s graduate film program, sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of filmmakers. His background as an editor and digital imaging technician gives him a well-rounded understanding of the post-production process, allowing him to approach color grading and finishing from a unique perspective and produce exceptional results with a strong technical foundation.
