Online Quality Export
To turn over your project in the form of an exported video file of the final edit, the export should meet the following requirements:
The edit should match the final edit, but changes can be made to accommodate the limitations of a single video export:
Titles and graphics can be provided as a separate video export on alpha so we can lay them on top and enable for review or postings.
- Online quality (typically Prores 4444 at 16-bit)
- At your desired resolution
- Square pixel aspect ratio
- All color effects removed
- No cross fades or transitions - hard cuts only
- All titles and graphics removed
- No split screens
The edit should match the final edit, but changes can be made to accommodate the limitations of a single video export:
- Shots with transitions can have handles dragged out
- Shots that would be split screen can be put consecutively in the edit

Edit Sequence Transfer Document
If possible, it’s helpful to provide an XML, AAF, or EDL of the simplified edit sequence used to generate the export to line up the edits in the export. Ideally, the sequence would be condensed to a single track.
